Before you start shaking, you’ll be taken back to the Golden Age. An important era for Bols as this was the time when grandson Lucas Bols developed his family’s distillery into a great international enterprise. After a little bit of history, your senses are put to the test. In the Hall of Taste you can experiment with scents, flavours and colours. Finally, it’s up to you: shake your own cocktail!
Nice to know
Bols is the oldest distilled brand in the world. The Bols family opened the doors of its distillery ‘t Lootsje on the Rozengracht as early as 1575 and began to distil liqueurs. Oranges, cardamom and cumin were the first flavours.
