Roof swing & skybar

For the best view of all over Amsterdam, there is only one place to be these days: A'DAM LOOKOUT, a 360° observation deck on top of the A’DAM tower on the bank of the IJ.

The famous canals, the polder landscape around Amsterdam, the harbour and historical buildings such as the Rijksmuseum can all be spotted from the 100 m tall A’DAM tower.

If you dare, you can also swing over the edge of the 100-metre tall tower.

As well as an observation deck, this former Shell tower has much more to offer, such as Over the Edge, Europe’s highest swing, the Moon (Amsterdam's first revolving restaurant), a hotel, a skybar, a burger joint and a club. There is definitely no reason for you to get bored in this tower.

Hey, did you know?

Overhoeks Tower, the A'DAM tower's original name, was built for Shell in 1966. That's why Amsterdammers still call it the Shell Tower. Designed by Arthur Staal, a striking feature is that the office block stands at 45º angle to the river IJ.
