Dive into the World of Wine

A museum about wine, does such a thing exist? Certainly, in Arnhem.

A definite must-see for everyone who doesn’t just enjoy drinking wine, but who would also like to know more about viticulture, wine culture and wine history.

Like visiting a French wine chateau, that’s what a visit to the historic cellars of the Nederlands Wijnmuseum feels like.

You walk past rows and rows of oak barrels and racks filled with wine bottles. In the museum, you can discover all facets of wine production. Afterwards, you’ll definitely want to taste some of these wines yourself. So, be sure to reserve a tasting in wine café Le Jardin.

Extra fun: a wine expert can teach you the wine tasting technique.

Hey, did you know?

Robbers & van den Hoogen can be found next to the Wine Museum. One of the oldest wine houses in the Netherlands, it was founded in 1842 and since 1992 carries the Royal Warrant. One of the tour packages of the museum even takes you through their wine cellars.
